GOING TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Can you say "AWESOME"? This year’s Camp meeting was truly the best yet. Each year brings new revelation and insight. This year truly took those in attendance to the NEXT LEVEL.
*Bishop Marc Campbell brought a message of hope and deliverance. From the story of David, "David's First Defection" was truly a rhema word for those in attendance. Sion Alford came into this place with a Word straight from the throne of God. Speaking from his own experiences over the past couple of years, Sion shared how frustrating it can be to be in the process of going to the next place in God. There is really too much to tell in one newsletter. Please be sure to order these awesome CD's for you to be encouraged and blessed. Here is part of the message I brought Friday night of the meeting.

*Recently, I was reading a familiar story about Elijah and Elisha. So many fixate on the double portion that a young man, Elisha, received from his mentor, Elijah. Although this is a great part of the story, so many times, we focus on the prize more than the process. Many would agree that the prize is the part that everyone can receive. The hard part is the process. I have found out that the true prize is the process. It is the process that brings character, integrity, and true godliness. So many times we try to by-pass the process. I have found that a by-passed process will result in a failed ministry.

*Back to our story. When we first see Elisha he is in a place we wouldn't expect to find a prophet. He is in a field plowing with donkeys. In fact, the Word tells us that he himself was driving the 12th pair. Now you might be saying, "but Scott, he didn't know anything was about to happen." I beg to differ. God doesn't "surprise" us with calling. In fact, Romans 11 tells us that the gifts and calling of God is without repentance. You know that feeling right before a great breakthrough. You are wanting to give up. You feel that nothing is ever going to happen to you. But the fact that you are feeling this way is proof that you know God is going to do something.
*Maybe you are reading this right now and you say, "I feel what you are saying." You know that God has great things in store for you. You know that you are at the brink of a breakthrough. All hell is breaking out against you and the devil is trying his best to get you to give up. I want to say to you today....HOLD ON. The reason the enemy is wanting you to give up is he knows you are close to your promise.

*Remember, you never see the giants until you are looking at your promised land. When you are wandering through the wilderness you never struggle with giants. The moment you begin your process to the Promised Land you begin to see giants and all kinds of obstacles. Whatever you do, don't stop, don't give up!

*Get this picture. Just before Elijah showed up with an open door to ministry for Elisha, all Elisha could see was the south end of a north bound donkey. Everyday he was "stuck" behind donkeys plowing. But he was faithful. He was faithful with the mundane. It’s easy to get frustrated with the mundane, but if you are faithful with what God has given you for right now, your door will open for you. Be blessed and till next month know that Tyra and I love you.
